Jamaica (pronounced /dʒəˈmeɪkÉ™/) is an island nation of the Greater Antilles, 234 kilometres (145 mi) in length and as much as 80 kilometres (50 mi) in width, amounting to 11,100 km. It is situated in the Caribbean Sea, about 145 kilometres (90 mi) south of Cuba, and 190 kilometres (120 mi) west of Haiti, island of Hispaniola, on which also the Dominican Republic is located. Q. I'm planning on taking a friend to Jamaica for a holiday. However, i cant seem to find an airline which offers a direct flight to Jamaica from Singapore. You can probably fly Singapore Airlines from Singapore to Los Angeles and then fly Air Jamaica into Kingston. Don't know the price. You will have to look at a travel website for that. As for traveling, I would arrive at the airport early; limit the amount of liquids that you bring on-board; dress comfortably; bring a book to read as the trip will be long; enjoy the trip.
