From Google News Search: "Jamaica" How you ever been on vacation to Jamaica? Q. My husband and I want to go on a vacation in Jamaica. What was your vacation like to Jamaica? Where did you stay? Do people really smoke pot on the beaches down there? Do you need a passport to go there? Asked by bamagrits84 - Sat Jun 23 11:40:11 2007 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. My husband and I go to Montego Bay every winter before the holiday season starts up. We always stay at Sandals Royal Caribbean. The service, accommodations, and food are excellent. It's very easy to buy marijuana there, but it is illegal. Yes, you do need a passport. If you partake in the ganja watch out for people that offer you a joint in bars and nightclubs, after you take a drag they will demand you pay for it (usually a rediculous amount) , if you refuse to pay your likely to meet a couple of large goons...always refuse what seems like a friendly pass from people you dont know. I think some the other answerers are not understanding the question, I have been all over the world and have seen all kinds of scams that are particular to those areas, In New Orleans people try to guess where you bought your shoes, in Thailand rickshaw drivers will drive you to jewelry shops regardless of where you told them to go, In the middle east fake"parking attendants" will try to get you to pay for free parking,… [cont.] Answered by aronlamerson - Mon Jan 15 18:11:09 2007 Direct flights from Singapore to Jamaica?
Q. I'm planning on taking a friend to Jamaica for a holiday. However, i cant seem to find an airline which offers a direct flight to Jamaica from Singapore. Does anybody know how'd i be able to fly to Jamaica from Singapore? How much would the air fare be for 2 people? Any tips for a first-timer? Asked by Niki - Fri Jun 13 02:14:04 2008 - - 2 Answers - 1 Comments A. There are no direct flights from Singapore to Jamaica. You can probably fly Singapore Airlines from Singapore to Los Angeles and then fly Air Jamaica into Kingston. Don't know the price. You will have to look at a travel website for that. As for traveling, I would arrive at the airport early; limit the amount of liquids that you bring on-board; dress comfortably; bring a book to read as the trip will be long; enjoy the trip.
