Tallinn University of Technology (TUT) (Estonian: Tallinna Tehnikaülikool (TTÜ)) is the only university of technology in Estonia, and one of the three most important institutions of higher education in Estonia generally. It is located in the capital city of Estonia, Tallinn. Tallinn University of Technology is not related to Tallinn University, which since 2005 is the new name of the former Tallinn Pedagogical University. TUT has colleges in Tallinn, Tartu - Director Prof. Lembit Nei, Kuressaare and Kohtla-Järve.
